We spent years testing rubs, sauces, and smoking techniques in our backyard — feeding friends, co-workers, and neighbors long before we ever served our first official plate. After every cookout, we’d hear the same thing: “Y’all need to sell this.” So, we did.

A proud veteran, mom, nana, and multitasking powerhouse, Stephanie keeps Mad’s running with heart and hustle. She’s the organizer, the marketer, and the storyteller behind the brand — the one making sure every event, menu, and customer experience feels like a piece of home. Her motto: “Good food brings people together — and that’s exactly what we aim to do.”

Kenny
The man who started it all. After retiring, Kenny turned his backyard smoker into the family’s favorite gathering spot. He’s the one tending the fire before sunrise, keeping the temps steady, and making sure every bite of meat comes off tender, juicy, and full of applewood flavor. Around here, if it hits the smoker, Kenny makes it perfect.
